Children Yoga

(for 3-6 year olds)

In preschool age, activities mainly involve movement seasoned with fairy tales, dramatic plays, and songs. Children like to play and move at the same time, so they learn the joy of yoga without noticing, and learn yoga asanas by imitating animals. Due to the action-oriented nature of movement games, doing them together with peers increases activity. It dissolves the inhibitions of children, strengthens their self-confidence, they become self-confident, brave, helpful, cooperative, disciplined and striving for independence. If movement development is embedded in games, learning becomes much more experiential. Since children like to hide in the skin of an animal, they will easily become part of the travel-based game. The younger they are introduced to yoga asanas, the more naturally children incorporate them into the game. By performing exercises interwoven with playful elements, apart from the asanas, they learn the correct breathing and posture and how to relax.

Yoga also has a very good effect on the development of children's skills and abilities (e.g. movement, body schema, perception, attention, memory, thinking). In addition, the children's immune system and body are strengthened, and their vitality increases.

Preschool age is the stage of learning natural location and position-changing and fine motor movements, the development of skills, and the intensive development of movement coordination, which must be promoted with diverse, varied and joyful forms of practice and play that take place in emotional safety. In this way, movement and intellectual development can be mutually beneficial.

It also helps them to live a balanced, healthy and happy life.

CLOTHING:

For both little girls and little boys, comfortable clothes, plain t-shirts (sequins, stickers or any other decorations are not suitable), because we crawl and climb. Long or short pants are also suitable for practice.

Who do I recommend it to!?

For all children of preschool age, as complex body movements are integrated into other activities of preschool life. These constantly affect the child's personality - such as positive self-image, self-control, emotion regulation, rule-following behavior, cooperation, communication, problem-solving thinking.
